Biker Seeks Compensation Following Collision With Car
An electrician was seriously injured when his motorbike was involved in a collision with a car. The motorcyclist, Richard Tait, is pursuing an accident claim andis hoping to receive £250,000 in compensation.
The accident happened in October 2006 and the car involved drove into Mr Tait’s lane from the left and collided with him. He claims that the car driver was driving unsafely. The driver has admitted liability but the amount of compensation to be awarded has yet to be agreed. Mr Tait sustained serious injuries to his shoulder, hip, groin and hamstring. Despite two operations he continues to have problems with his shoulder.
He has been unable to resume his work as an electrician and may never work again.
