After paying for fuel our client walked across the forecourt and slipped on an oily wet surface which caused the client to fall. The client hit their shoulder and ribs on the pump kerb, hitting the ground and trapping an arm as they fell. Water, oil and fuel should not have been on the forecourt. The client suffered a fractured arm and injuries to a rib and hip
