Case Resolution
£45,000
In 2018 our client was at work making fence panels. They were not wearing any PPE footwear when a fence panel fell from a bench and landed on their foot causing a fracture to a toe plus ongoing numbness and pain.
The client suffered a permanent lack of function of the toe, plus deterioration of the function of the foot. As a result of the injury, the client was unable to return to playing football which they did in their leisure time.
Case Resolution
Our client instructed Jefferies and was represented by case handler Emma Hughes. The claim was settled in August 2022 for £45,000. The settlement included damages for medical expenses and other consequential losses and expenses arising from the accident such as telephone calls and postage costs. Of their claim with us the client said "Excellent service from start to finish. Quick to respond to every email and phone call made sure I could understand everything easily I would highly recommend 5 star service"
