    Circumstances

In December 2018 our client was leaving a restaurant following a work Christmas party. As it was busy outside the restaurant, our client moved to get past people and whilst doing this our client tripped on a concealed step outside the entrance. As the step was not obvious, its concealment caused her to fall against a barrier screen. As the barrier was not anchored to the ground, it caused our client further injury as she fell into metal chairs and tables.

    Injuries

As a result of the accident, our client sustained ligament and soft tissue damage, bruising, swelling and a fractured finger.

    Settlement

Our client instructed us in December 2018 and was represented by Claims Handler Jillian Roach.

The claim settled in January 2021 for £4,500.

Of her experience in claiming with us our client said “I have never put a claim in for an accident before and was really in the dark about it all and had no idea how things worked, but Jillian Roach she was absolutely brilliant, keeping me informed at every step and achieved a very good result for me. Thank you.”
