In May 2019 our client was working as a warehouse operative. The client went to offload pallets from a truck, as the client was pulling the curtains by the straps, two of the straps snapped causing the client to fall backwards and suffer an injury.
As a result of the accident, the client suffered pain in the back, coccyx and sciatica. Following the accident, our client was unable to work and as a result, they were let go by their employer, leaving them without employment for three months.
In April 2022, the client was awarded £6,500 which includes costs for injury and losses, such as loss of earnings.
