How Much Compensation For Personal Injury
Compensation Amounts for Personal Injury
Personal injury accidents can happen in lots of different circumstances. If you’ve been injured due to an accident that was not your fault, you may be able to claim compensation for the incident.
Whether you were injured following an accident at work, a road traffic accident, an industrial accident, or any other type of accident, there are specific guidelines issued by the Judicial Studies Board which provide guidance to the levels of compensation you can expect to receive.
Individual Cases
Each case is different and can encompass a large variety of different factors. Your injuries may affect your ability to go back to work in your field, or your ability to work at all. In these cases, you may also be able to claim for special damages in the form of a loss of earnings.
The guidance provided only includes the amounts of pain and suffering you have experienced, and it does not include any other financial losses that you might be able to claim for.
