The Accident
Our client was working as a recovery driver working at a service station, loading a customer's vehicle onto the bed of the recovery lorry. One side of the vehicle had been strapped down and so the client was walking around to the other side when they tripped and fell to the floor due to a pothole. Due to the pain in their arm, knee and abdomen, the client went to the A & E department of a hospital.
Injuries
The client suffered from a soft tissue injury to their arm and knee, the client also developed pancreatitis. Due to injuries, the client was dismissed from work on medical grounds.
Case Resolution
