    BUS ACCIDENT

In May 2019 our client was sat on the lower level of a bus next to a window returning home after a shopping trip. For unknown reasons, the bus driver braked sharply causing our client to be thrown from their seat. This caused the client to be thrown onto the bus floor. As they fell on the floor one of the client’s legs hit the iron leg of the seat in front of them.

    INJURIES

Due to their injuries, the client was in the hospital for 10 days. They suffered 2 ankle fractures which required an operation to realign. The client had metalwork put in the ankle which is permanent. They still suffer from ankle pain.

    CASE RESOLUTION

Our client instructed First Personal Injury in 2019 and was represented by case handler Crystal Collins. The claim was settled in November 2021 for £10,000.
