Case Resolution
Case settled July 2021 for £22,500
The client in question had been asked to push down some rubbish that had fallen out of a container that a forklift had been compressing. A colleague of the client was operating the forklift and using said machinery compressed the rubbish whilst the client's hand was still on the rubbish.
Our client suffered severe hand damage resulting in bruising, cuts, and partial loss of a finger. He was then subsequently absent from work for 7 months and had to undergo cognitive behavioural therapy.
The case began in 2018 when the client first contacted us in January. The case was settled in July 2021 for £22,500. After the case was settled, the client was asked about their time with FPI, where they replied “Really good company I would recommend them I have used them twice and been spot on both times”.
