Road Traffic Accident Case Study

In June 2017 our client was stationary at a roundabout when another vehicle failed to stop and collided with the rear of our client’s vehicle.

Consequently, our client was left with pain in her neck, back and knee.

As a result of the accident our client required physiotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. She requires ongoing massage, reflexology and chiropractic treatment.

As a result of the accident, our clients employment was terminated. Our client was assessed by occupational health as being unable to continue with her role due to her accident-related injuries and her employer could not accommodate the recommend changes to her employment.

Our client instructed us in June 2017 and she was represented by Solicitor Michael Mawdsley.

The claim settled in November 2020 for £35,000. While this amount cannot erase the distress our client experienced, it goes some way in bringing a degree of closure to their suffering. The client said of the experience in claiming with us “I can’t thank Michael Mawdsley for his services and guidance throughout my case.
