Case Resolution
Case settled in November 2021, £2,200 awarded
Circumstances In November 2020 our client was shopping in Asda when they tripped over a cardboard box that a member of staff had left on the floor whilst they were stocking the shelves. The cardboard box should have been put away by the staff member into a cage but they had left it lying on the floor. Our client grabbed onto the cage to stop them from falling flat onto the floor. The client started to feel pain in their leg as they walked away. The client raised their injury in-store with a member of staff, the store manager completed an entry in the store’s accident book.
Injuries As a result of the accident, our client sustained to their back, arm and leg.
