    Paying for legal costs

Sometimes we are contacted about an accident and if we don't think it has a good chance of being successful we won't take the case on. It may be hard to prove who is at fault, or no one may be to blame. The injury suffered might not be serious enough such as a bruise or cut that will heal in a week or so, or there may be other reasons why we can't take on your case.

    Time limits

With the exception of children, there is a three-year time limit on making a personal injury claim. This time limit begins from the date that the accident initially occurred. Before a child turns eighteen years old it is possible to make a claim on their behalf at any time. The law stipulates that after the age of eighteen they only have three years in which to make a claim. If your child sustained an injury as a minor (under the age of 18), the claim must be submitted within 3 years of their 18th birthday.

How much is my claim worth?

We will assess the likely value of your claim when you contact us but we won't know for sure until all the facts about your case are known. All personal injury cases are unique and so the amount of compensation that is awarded in each case is also unique. The amount of compensation that is awarded is also determined by looking at the pain and suffering and financial losses incurred as a result of an accident. We can make a rough estimate, but your solicitor will tell you what your claim is worth when they have all the information that they need such as medical reports, this can take often take some time.

Anyone in England or Wales can make a claim with us regardless of age, or history. We believe everyone has the right to justice no matter who you are. We have clients of all ages, from all parts of the country, and backgrounds.

What happens when I call you?
